Patient Care
Located in downtown Chicago, the Northwestern Scleroderma Program is one of only a handful of centers nationally that specializes in this disease. The program serves patients from all over the world with the mission to provide state-of-the-art patient care, conduct research toward a cure and increase awareness about scleroderma. See the Northwestern Medicine website to locate the clinic and learn more about scleroderma.
Multidisciplinary Team Approach
Due to the multi-organ nature of scleroderma, optimal care of patients requires individualized treatment and the coordinated efforts of experienced specialists. At Northwestern, physicians from Rheumatology, Pulmonary and Critical Care, Pulmonary Hypertension Program, Lung Transplant Program, Cardiology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Immunotherapy, Nephrology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Rehabilitative Medicine work together to ensure that patients receive comprehensive evaluation and management of their scleroderma.
